Fairy Fun Fridays -MW Reminder "It's My Party"!

Happy Friday everyone!

Just a reminder today that our fairy queen Roberta is still celebrating her birthday and the birthday of Prairie Fairy Designs! So that means you still have one more week to get your card in and get your party on over at the Fairy Fun Fridays challenge blog! Since I was moving last week and super busy I didn't get a chance to celebrate with all the other DT members. But this week I didn't want to miss out...so here is my card and a bit more inspiration for you...

And of course the adorable images I used are all Prairie Fairy Designs and this particular set I used is called "Gerry's Birthday Set"...you get Gerry, the cake and the gifts and it can be found here!

Here's a better close up...and I haven't really used Stickles in a long time, so I went a little crazy as usual...lol...

For the sentiment I used a fun Birthday set from "Fiskars"! I stamped and embossed it with sparkly Kaleidoscope embossing powder! And I added some bits of tied ribbon in matching colors for a bit more fun!

I continued with the theme on the inside of the card and used the gifts from the rest of the digi set!

CARD INGREDIENTS:
PAPERS: Textured cardstock in brown, golden orange, blue and green all from "DCWV". Design paper from "My Minds Eye".
IMAGE and SENTIMENT: The image is an adorable digi stamp from "Prairie Fairy Designs" and the sentiment is handstamped and is from "Fiskars".
INK and COLOR: The image was colored in with "PrismaColor" pencils and a gamsol technique was used to blend. Black pigment ink from "ColorBox".
EMBELLISHMENTS: Orange grosgrain ribbon, green, yellow and red satin ribbon and clear star shaped rhinestones.
TOOLS: Sewing machine, "Cuttlebug" with swirls embossing folder, birthday candles border punch from "EKSuccess" and scalloped border punch from "Fiskars".
FEATURES: Machine stitching in and out with yellow color thread. Images were cut out and 3D mounted. Sentiment was handstamped and then embossed with Kaleidoscope embossing powder from "Stampendous".

This card draws inspiration from and will be entered into the following challenges:

#1.) There She Goes -#98 "Sketch Challenge"
#2.) Pile It On Challenges -"Use Green and Orange"
