The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow!

Morning all, hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
I have a new card to share with you today! I recently won a challenge and the prize was a gift certificate to "There She Goes Clear Stamps" and while browsing the shop...I splurged a bit and got some of the cutest stamps!! I found this rainy day set and just had to get it...because it very much suits my mood at the moment as it has been raining non stop and finally we had some sun the other day that stayed into today!

The set comes with some adorable sentiments too! As for the layout, I used a cute sketch from "The Sweet Stop"!

If you've been following my blog lately, you will know I have been addicted to using "Glossy Accents lately...lol! So I used some glossy accents for the umbrella to make it pop! And this is the first time I've tried "Liquid Pearls"...not sure if I like it or not? I will have to play with it more to get the hang of it. I also love the stacked button look!

Here's the sentiment and yes...I had this song in my head the whole time while creating this card...lol!

I used some more of the "Liquid Pearls" and continued with the theme on the inside...

CARD INGREDIENTS:
PAPERS: Textured cardstock in bright white and glittery textured cardstock in cool grey all from "DCWV". Design paper is from "Recollections" and "DCWV".
IMAGE and SENTIMENT: The image and sentiment were handsatmped and are from "There She Goes Clear Stamps".
INK and COLOR: The image was colored in with "PrismaColor" pencils and a gamsol technique was used to blend. Image and sentiment stamped with Tuxedo black ink from "Memento".
EMBELLISHMENTS: Rhinestones and white, red and grey buttons.
TOOLS: Sewing machine and "Spellbinders" machine w/ large scalloped ovals dies.
FEATURES: Machine stitching in and out with white color thread. Part of image was cut and layered and 3D mounted along with the sentiment. "Stickles" glitter glue and "Glossy Accents" were used on the image to make it pop. "Liquid Pearls" were used to frame the image.
