Feel Better Soon -By Lori Designs Challenge #15 -DT Card!

The weeks just keep rolling on by! It's time for another "By Lori Designs" color challenge!

The colors this week are; Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette, White and Crumb Cake
Since I'm on Team B I have total creative freedom this week...so I didn't follow the challenge colors to a tee, but I was inspired by the color palette a little bit for my card...as you can see a bit of pink and of course white in there too!

The image I used this week is a Lollipop and her name is Presley...she can be found in the "By Lori Designs" shop HERE! Isn't she the cutest!!

I added a bit of sparkle to her little gown and might have went a little crazy with the pearls...lol...

I'm starting to really love wired ribbon as it holds it's shape beautifully and makes the bows much easier to rangle...

The inside...

Hoppy Easter To You!! And another free digi sentiment!!

Happy Easter everyone!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! We were hoping to have our Easter egg hunt for the kiddos outside this year and have a nice barbecue...but the rain came and made it another soggy Spring day. But the kids had fun anyways! They had a blast dying eggs the night before and then hunting them the next inside the house. It was our littlest one's first time dying eggs all by himself, so that was exciting!

Anyways...I know it's a little late to share these seeing how Easter is today...lol. But I figured someone might still want them and it's always good to be prepared for next year!

Here is the card I made using one of the sentiments...

And here are the sentiments...

I'm sure if you're like me this challenge won't be too hard at all...we all love flowers don't we?!!

Here's a little inspiration for you to get started...

The adorable image I used for my card is one of Roberta's newest releases!! You should be able to find in the "Prairie Fairy Designs" shop HERE soon!!

I just love these sunflowers I got from "WOC" which initially got my inspiration flowing and doesn't it just match perfectly with the little ducky image?! And not sure if you can tell from my pic, but I used a bit of brown "Fun Flock" for the middle of the sunflower on the image followed by "Stickles" of course!

Lately I've been using charms on all my cards...I can't help it, it's so fun...lol! So I found a matching sunflower charm too! I created the sentiment myself and will of course share it with you all in a few days on my blog...so be sure to stop back by to snag them up!

IMAGE and SENTIMENT: The image is a digi stamp and is from "Prairie Fairy Designs". The sentiment is my own computer generated text.
INK and COLOR: The image was colored in with "PrismaColor" pencils and a gamsol technique was used to blend. Broken China and Peeled Paint distress ink from "Tim Holtz" used to sponge the edges of the image and sentiment.
EMBELLISHMENTS: Soft yellow satin ribbon, silver sunflower charm, clear acrylic dew drops, rhinestone brad and flowers and powder blue pearls are from "WOC" (Wild Orchard Crafts).

Not sure if I'm inspired by the DP I've been using lately or Lori's super cute images...but just like last weeks card, doesn't this kinda have a groovy feel too...lol!

I just love those clear dew drops and went a little crazy with them all over the card! I'm also loving the beautiful brads from "Lush"!

As for the sentiment...no I didn't create this one, but isn't it awesome?! It's actually a clear stamp from "Studio G" that I found in the bargain bin at my local "Michaels" store awhile back!

Hoppy Easter!

I finally finished the last Easter card I have been working on since the weekend. My mojo flew out the door...still trying to find it...lol. But I wanted to try and squeeze one more Easter card in before the holiday is over. And not only that, but I didn't want to miss the chance to use Roberta's adorable "Baby Bunny Emily" image that can be found in the "Prairie Fairy Designs" shop HERE!

For my card I used a sketch from "Sketch N Stash" Challenge. For the cute egg shaped that I framed Baby Emily with...I used an awesome free SVG cut file from HERE! Since I don't have the "Sure Cuts A Lot" software for my Cricut, I had to cut out the templates by hand and resize them to fit the way I wanted.

Not sure if you tell from my horrible pics...but I used some turquoise colored tulle along with some pearl sprays and small flowers for the background to make it look even more Eastery...lol. And if you look close enough you can see the little purple butterflies I added as well! And "Glossy Accents" was added to the glasses and pacifier again...I just love that stuff!

And make sure to check back in the next couple days as I will have some new sentiments to share with you!

I just love that butterfly charm! It's another old charm I had for awhile laying around in my charm box.
