Merry Christmas From Our House To Yours!

Hello there!
Wow...I've been away soooo long! I've been working on Christmas gifts fpr all my friends and family and I'm still not done....

I made this last card here a couple weeks ago...totally forgot to take a pic! Was getting ready to send it out  too...can't believe I forgot about it! That's tells you where my brain is!

This will be my last card of the year. And just a heads up...I may or may not be taking a break from card making next year. My boys are getting older and I want to spend more of my time and energy scrapping next year.

I will still be here though...just probably not sharing cards. I will still have my Etsy shop for sentiments and stuff...and since I'm going to be spending more of my time digital scrapping I will probably be focusing my time toward more of the digital stuff too besides my beading! :)

~~~~~~~~~~♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥~~~~~~~~~~
So...the last card of the year!
Yes I've used this Magnolia fairy again...I just love her!
And guess what?! I didn't realize it until I took the picture and this is the first time too...I completely forgot to stitch the main image!! Ahh well...it still looks pretty! And I've used another background stamp and masked the image...love it!
More views...The adorable little flower I got from the Dollar tree, so cute! :)
And the inside...love that textured crushed velvet DP!
Make Your Season Bright
Hello there!
Hope you all are having a great start to your week so far! I'm usually stressed this time of the year specially with Thanksgiving in just a couple days...but I will happily not be cooking this year or having it my my house! Most of my family have moved away and the ones that are still here don't really celebrate, so we have decided to go out to eat and have someone else cook and clean up this year. I know so un-traditional, but hey, we will see how it goes and see if we start a new tradition. Besides my boys were super excited to hear we were going out to eat...I don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing....lol?!
I've been working on Christmas gifts as I usually give out at least one handmade gift from me every year...so admittedly I'm getting a little behind on my cards! But I'm back with another card to mark off my list...I'v also been making doubles for my shop, which I rarely do. I think I may have bit off more than I can chew...is that how the saying goes?...lol.
I think this may be the first time I've used black on a christmas card?...not sure if I like it...but I love how it makes the golden yellow stick out!
I was playing around with some background stamps I forgot I had and wanted to see how it would look...I masked the image and then stamped the background. I think I really love the way it looks...makes me want to add more background stamps to my Christmas list!
I used a cute little Christmas sentiment from the bargain bin Studio G stamps and embossed it with kaleidoscope powder...so sparkly and pretty! I found this satin ribbon from my stash that matched the copic colors perfectly and had to make a bow! I also made some pins...haven't made pins in awhile...so fun! And of course I had to use another one of those gorgeous snowflake ornaments from the Dollar Tree of all places! :)
Kept the inside simple as I was wanting more of a larger writing space for this one as I have someone very special in mind to send this to!
Wishing You A Very Merry Christmas
Hello everyone!
I have another Christmas card to share as promised...many more to come too! :)
Went with traditional Christmas colors and a simple layout for this one...
The image I used is from "Whimsy Stamps" (Wee Stamps)...isn't she a beauty! This is the first time I've inked her up and definitely won't be the last! She was a blast to color and I couldn't wait to sparkle up her wings...lol!
A close up of the humungo bow I've added...lol! I've use 2 different ribbons with my EZ Bow maker...the beige is wired. I usually don't like working with wired ribbon but I had lots of fun playing with this one to form the shape! :)
The inside...I didn't want to cover up the image with a sentiment on the outside, so I've added it on the inside....
Merry Christmas To You!
Good Wednesday morning everyone!
I can't believe how fast time has been flying by! It seems like I'm always busy with something and sometimes find it so hard to find time to fit crafting into my schedule. I hope you all had a great Halloween! My kiddos had a blast as always and came home with a major haul of candy of which most of the chocolate went to me...LOL. My boys actually aren't big fans of chocolate so yay for me! One thing I'm happy about...I don't know about all you, but the this election is finally over!! It's been kinda disheartening to see all the bickering back and forth between friends on Facebook. Hopefully things will get back to normal now...lol.
Anyways, I've been coloring up a storm for the past week and will have lots of Christmas cards to share in the coming week starting with this one today! I think I may be a little crazy too, because I've been making duplicates as I go along so I can have some on hand to put in my shop as well as sending to loved ones! :)~
~~~~~~~~~~♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥~~~~~~~~~~

I went with an UN-traditional color scheme this time...love the DP!

I just love this Tilda stamp, probably my fav out of my little collection I have...lol! I don't own any Magnolia Christmas themed stamps but I was in a Tilda mood...so I used what I had. I think this stamp could be used for many things including Christmas! :)

I've been playing with my Copics and this is the first time I've tried the pleated technique on the dress. I'm really happy with the way it turned out and glad I didn't have a waste bin full of scraps because I hate wasting ink...lol. I also learned I can add a little BV00 for more depth and shading. It works out really well and I found it actually makes the blending go a little more smoothly with E11 for skin.

I still have a bunch of these large snowflake ornaments left over from last year, so I've been using them for my cards as I don't really have holiday themed embellishments on hand...lol. I wish I knew where everyone was getting their smaller ones though cause I would prefer to use the smaller ones compared to these big honkers! :)~

I do have some cute little snowflake buttons though...I just cut the backs off of them. I embossed the sentiment...not sure if you can capture it in the picture?

I went with a simple inside but added some more of cute matching DP for the writing space!

Warmest Wishes For A Happy Holiday Season

Hey there!
Boy is it a soggy one out there...it's been raining for the past week. And it has been crazy windy too. We actually had a mini tornado in Springfield the other day that caused some damage to a couple houses and tore out a tree! I know crazy...tornadoes are un-heard of here in Oregon!

I have actually started working on Christmas cards! I know Halloween is just about here...but I got a couple of those out the way already. I always start to feel stressed around this time of year, specially when I made a decision about 4 years ago that I would never buy a store bought card again!! So I've got lots to do!!

~~~~~~~~~~♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥~~~~~~~~~~
Here is my first Christmas card of the year!
One of my light bulbs are burnt out that I use for my light box...so I wasn't able to capture all the sparkle as much as I would have liked. But I did add some sparkle to her wings, ornaments and there is even sparkle on the mounting cardstock, snowflake and stamen.
The image is of course one of Krista's darling digi's from Saturated Canary! She is called "Christmas Angel" and can be found HERE!
More angels and close ups....
I've added one of my digi sentiments on the inside...I thought it fit perfectly with the image!
Look Walker!!....or Skater?!
Morning all...well it's actually around 1:30 am as I type this...can't sleep.
My sinus infection has gotten better, although I can't sleep, at least I can breath a little better...and I never thought I would enjoy blowing my nose so much...lol! I couldn't do that a few days ago!
I have another Halloween card to share...this one a little more spooky! Me being a HUGE fan of the show "Walking Dead", I just had to get Krista's zombie skater girl!! And I absolutely love the sentiment she made to go with the image! For all you zombie fans...make sure to mark your calenders for Oct. 14th..."Walking Dead" returns!!! Oh I can't wait!! I don't have cable anymore...but believe me, I WILL find some way to watch it...lol!
Walker!!....nah, just an adorable skater!! :P~
I'm never really thrilled with the way my holiday themed cards turn out...usually do to a lack of supplies on hand. But I have to say, I think this might be my favorite!! I really love the way this one turned out!
I couldn't help myself...I just had to add some googly eyes. When I was putting them on, my little one walked in and was like "Ahhh! She is creepy Mama!" lol!
You can find the image in Krista's shop Saturated Canary...she is called "Rollerskating Zombie" and can be found HERE.
I bought this glittery paper awhile back from DCWV and finally found the perfect card to use it on! I contained myself and didn't add glitter to the image...but I always have to have glitter somewhere...lol!! Love the glittery ribbon too!
The sentiment came with the image, I love that Krista is creating sentiments now to go with her awesome digis! I thought it looked a little plain on it's own though, so I created one of my ticket shapes in Illustrator to frame it! The staples were an after thought...first time using staples on a card I might add!
Added some more of that cheesecloth on the inside too...
