So Thankful For You - July GDT Card for Wee Stamps!

Good morning crafty friends!

I've been super busy this week trying to fill up my Etsy shop with beaded goodies and I promise I will soon be adding all my new cards to the shop too. Besides that, I kinda have a new job. It has taken up my time for the past few days. I'll be doing the bookkeeping/secretarial work for one of my hubs friends with a yard business.

Hope you all have been enjoying the summer weather. It has been super hot here. So hot 3 fires broke out just the other day in several places in our area and another today. Our Oregon climate is just not use to this super dry weather...we NEED the rain bad! So That's what's new with me since I last posted. :)

~~~~~~~~~~♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥~~~~~~~~~~
Now on to my card for today which is kind of a sad occasion. Because this will be the last card for Wee Stamps as one of their lucky GDT members. It truly has been a blast this month! I would be completely honored to do it again any time! Dreaming of Sunshine and Smiles...July GDT Card for Wee Stamps!
Good morning my crafty friends and happy Friday, yay!
I just love Fridays, usually means the kiddos and I get more time with daddy...but he's been working Fridays and will also be working on his days off this weekend. It's not too bad though cause it's only 1/2 day today and tomorrow, plus he needs the hours with school shopping to get done soon for the new school year! He may possibly take the boys down to the river today...so wish I could go. I don't think my foot could take the pain of walking over the rocks though. I can't wait till I can get rid of this heel pain! Hope you all have a great Friday with awesome summer weather and  a wonderful weekend too!
~~~~~~~~~~♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥~~~~~~~~~~

Now onto my newest share for today and continuing with another card for Wee Stamps as one of their honored July Guest Designers! Be sure to check back all month long as I'll be sharing some NEW releases at the end of the month!! Sylvia Zet's little wee illustrations are just darling!!

I've noticed lately I haven't done much purple or pink...mainly because I'm out of most those colors lol. So I'm trying to incorporate more girly colors into my cards...and yes I used some yellow again...more of a goldish yellow! Really don't know what my fascination is with yellow lately! Maybe because it's Summer? lol

The image I had the pleasure of working with on my card today is called "Ruby" and she can be found in the Wee Stamps shop HERE as a digital stamp! Or if you prefer rubber stamps, you can find them at Whimsy Stamps HERE!

And as you can tell or maybe, hopefully not?...I was still practicing my "Kit&Clowder" cloud technique when I designed this card. So please advert your eyes from the clouds...don't like the way they turned out, LOL!

I've used some gorgeous lavender satin ribbon...love satin ribbon because it's so much softer and easier when making bows! The sentiment has been heat embossed and is from "Lili of the Valley" stamps. And all the flowers I use most of the time are from "Wild Orchid Crafts"! As for the beautiful lace, I found a huge mixed bag of vintage spools from a thrift shop! LOVE awesome thrift store finds!! lol

And last but not least, the inside!

Delight In Life Enjoy Every Moment

Hello crafty friends!

This week is almost over, I feel like I haven't got anything done that I wanted to get done, lol. Summer is just blowing by so fast!

I actually got out for a walk the other day since my foot was feeling a little better. The sun was shining and it wasn't too hot which I love...super windy though, but it felt nice. I realized it was a bad idea though because the next day, I hopped out of bed and screamed in excruciating pain from the heel spur in my left foot. I was barely able to walk on it all day yesterday. Good thing I have awesome little helpers!! I kept my heating pad under my feet last night while working at my craft table, then wrapped it while sleeping. It must have helped because it does feel a little better today...although I know now, I'm no where near ready to go on another long walk again...lol.

I've been in a yellow kinda mood lately...can you tell? lol

Wanna Cuddle?

Hello my crafty pals!

How was your weekend?
Mine was okay, but hubs took on a second job and will now be gone on the weekends too...so basically he will be working all week long. I got some crafty time in though, so that's always a plus! I actually haven't been feeling that great lately...besides my back giving me problems and getting use to new medication, I recently found out the pain I've been having in my foot is a heel spur. It's been so painful to hobble along on my foot, lol. Doc gave me some exercises to try out to possibly relieve some of the pain...not helping. So that has set me back some on working out. Hoping I'll feel better soon. But crafting has been a great distraction!

~~~~~~~~~~♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥~~~~~~~~~~
So onto a new card to share today! I used another Kraftin Kimmie stamp....LOVE my Kimmie stamps!
I should mention, I was inspired by a beautiful sketch from "Stamps & Fun = Creativity". I didn't quite make it to enter the challenge for this sketch, but thought I would share it anyways!
The Kimmie stamp I used today, her name is "Jayne" and came with an adorable sentiment. She is sadly a retired stamp...I have procrastinated so long in inking her up. But you can still find many great stamps in the Kraftin Kimmie shop HERE!
I broke out my embossing folders again on this one...they've been so neglected lately lol. Love the way the bow turned out on this one...sometimes they turn out and sometimes they don't, lol. The colors matched perfectly! And of course some gorgeous flowers, pearls and lace trim to top everything off!
Good morning everyone!
I'll jump right into my card for today as this is pre-posted.
I had the pleasure to play with another image from Wee Stamps as I'm one of their July guest designers! I can't say enough how excited and honored I am to have had the opportunity to work with such beautiful images this month designed by Sylvia Zet! And I will have 3 more Wee cards to share before the month is through!
~~~♥ You Make Me Smile ♥~~~

Side View

The super adorable image is called "Love You Slow Much" and can be found in the Wee Stamps digi shop HERE! Or if you prefer rubber, you can buy them HERE at Whimsy Stamps!

I had a TON of fun coloring this image...who would have thought coloring a snail would be so much fun?! lol...and he is soooo cute too!

I love this shimmery cardstock I've used for the base and was surprised to see how closely it matched with the colors I used on her little dress. I haven't gave my embossing folders much attention lately...so I broke them out for this card lol. I LOVE these cute little corded ribbon flowers! I actually got them from the Dollar store a few years ago...and when I went back for more, they were of course gone!

It's Your Day! Wee Stamps Guest Designer for July!

Good morning crafty friends!

I hope all my US friends had a great Independence day and had a chance to see some fireworks yesterday! I had an awesome night last night celebrating our awesome country's birthday with family! Besides Christmas, the 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! We went over to Harrisburg where my mother in-law lives to watch the fireworks show they have down by the river every year. She has a great view from her house, so we all camp out on her lawn to watch them. My father in-law made some delicious mexican food which made the night even better!

~~~~~~~~~~♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥~~~~~~~~~~
Now to some other fabulous news...as I mentioned the other day, I was asked to be one of Wee Stamps guest designers for the month of July! I was totally flattered and of course honored to be asked by the DT coordinator Mariska. And I just LOVE Wee Stamps, so I couldn't pass up this amazing opportunity!
I will have several cards to share with you throughout the entire month of July with Wee Stamps including some NEW releases at the end of the month.
Now onto the first card...
So excited I finally get to share them with all of you! I absolutely love working with Sylvia's beautiful stamps!
The digi stamp I worked with for my first card is called "Summer Fairy" and can be found HERE! Isn't she gorgeous?!! I had so much fun coloring her up!
Some more views...I LOVE the ribbon I used on this card! It's so soft and and I love the way the bow turned out!
The color combo on this turned out kinda interesting, lol. The colors came from the top most DP I decided to use. I don't think I would have ever dreamt up this kind of color combo, but I think it turned out lovely.
