For A Great Friend -Sketch Saturday Challenge #196 -Sponsored By The Craft Barn!!

New weekend, new sketch! Yay!!
Keeping it short today as I haven't been feeling too good. I haven't really been online much this past week or even Facebook...which is a big thing for me, lol! Started a new diet last week and my tummy has just not been feeling too I have the case of the grumps. My mojo runs away when I'm!! Think I just need some chocolate and it will come back!

Hopefully I and the Saturday Girls can inspire you to all play along with Jo's fab sketch this week!

The Sketch:

We are sponsored by "The Craft Barn" this week!

As always, this weeks challenge winner will receive a generous prize from The Craft Barn!

Kinda stepped out of my comfort zone with my card this week...hubby says my card looks goth! I don't think it looks goth...I thought it turned out cute??? Think it may just be all the black I

The super gorgeous image is from "Saturated Canary" and can be found HERE! Krista has the most beautiful digi stamps to play with...I'm becoming hooked as I have been coloring up a lot of her images while I haven't been feeling good this week!

More views...I heat embossed the sentiment with sparkly kaleidoscope embossing powder! Don't like the way my bow turned I covered it up with a brad, flowers and a butterfly

Happy weekend everyone!!
Hope you can take the time and enjoy the simple things this weekend! I know I will be with my kiddos. I've been super busy all week working on stuff for my Etsy shop, my sentiments and custom a restful time spent with the hubs and the kiddos is very needed for me! I tried to get another card made that I could share with you all this week, but I just didn't find the time! Hopefully next week will go much smoother and I can craft and relax!

We have another super fun sketch for you this week and a fabulous NEW sponsor with the most adorable digi images that some of us on the team took the pleasure to play with!! Also this is the first week our new Saturday Girls get to show off their work for the team!! So be sure to stop by their blogs and give them some comment love!
The Sketch:

And our NEW sponsor this week is "Stamp Fairy"!!

You will find lots of fun, adorable and whimsical images like fairies and teddy bears to fall in love with!

Our challenge winner this week will win a wonderful and very generous $10 gift certificate to spend at "Stamp Fairy"!

It was super generous and so kind of Gerda from "Stamp Fairy" to give us these adorable images to play with this I couldn't pass up the chance! For my card this week, I have used a cutie pie digi from the "Molly Fairy" collection! She came with a beautiful matching sentiment too!

I've been trying to step out of my box lately and use different colors then my safe and norm pink and purple...but I guess old habits die hard! lol! She looks so pretty colored in this rich purple and pink though! And no way could I pass up the chance to sparkle her wings up with Glamour Dust and I used some Stickles on her sparkly wand too!!

The gorgeous plum Asters and the purple and creme Cherry Blossoms are from "Wild Orchard Crafts"! I also used some flat back pearls from "WOC" as well.

I'm super excited about my new "MFT" die that I just had to show it off in this close up! I love my dies...can never have enough! Love this beautiful loopy/crocheted ribbon...I found it in the bargain bin at "Big Lots" of all places! The only disappointment is there isn't much that come on a spool.

I'm still trying to figure out my new sewing machine (yes, a NEW sewing machine...another super exciting purchase!) my stitching turned out a little wonky on the

Boys Will Be Boys -Sketch Saturday Challenge #194 -Sponsored By Simon Says Stamp!

Time is just flying right on by this week and every week! I can't believe it's already time for another Valentine's day party at my kiddos school! I have lots to do this weekend and helping my kiddos craft their own Valentine's is on the top of my list! I'm kicking myself in the foot right now for promising them we would do that instead of getting the store bought ones this! But, I know it will be fun for all of us!

~~~~~~~~~~♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥~~~~~~~~~~'s time for another fun challenge at "Sketch Saturday"! And boy are you in store for the most fabulous sketchy from Jo...well all her sketches are fab, but I had such a blast with this one! I'm continuing with my personal goal of creating more cards for the boys...since I don't make enough of them.
The sketch:
This weeks challenge is sponsored by our friends at "Simon Says Stamp"!
A very generous $25 gift certificate will be awarded to our lucky challenge winner this week to spend on goodies in the SSS store!
This one just called for buttons which I love to break out every chance I get!! I also created this one for the challenge over at "Farm Fresh Challenge" which called for dimension! So I cut out this little cutie and popped him up on dimensional 3D squares! I was so excited to break open my new "DCWV" stack to create this one!I I used the new "Playground" set which is full of cuteness and all the designs are created on Kraft cardstock...just adorable! I used 2 different embossing folders for the little circles on each side and then buttons to create the rest of the circles for the sketch!
This little cutie is from "The Greeting Farm" stamps and came as part of this set which can be found HERE! I was pretty much happy with everything on my card except my coloring! I messed up so horribly on his hair and didn't realize it or notice until I was done coloring all of him. He looks like he has a huge skunk! Oh well...hope it's not too noticeable??
The sentiment is one of my own and can be found in the shop HERE! It's one of the designs I made last year and I just now completed a whole set, which is all boy themed!
Recognize the little dino?? It's actually came as part of the stamp I used on the front! I couldn't fit the whole stamp on the front, so I decided to put this little cutie on the inside! Super cute!
Hello Cupcake! Sweet Sunday Sketch!
I whipped up a quicky after sending the kiddos to bed tonight! But before I get to my card, I want to apologize to everyone for not getting my candy post up this weekend. Time just got away from me this week. And can you believe it's already February??!! And just when I was getting use to it being January! Anyways, I plan on getting the candy gathered up today, snappping some pics and hopefully will get it posted by tonight!
Onto my card...I guess I was in a simple and clean mood tonight. I get that way sometimes, but I actually love the way it turned out! I used a fabulous layout by "Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge"!
Side view showing the banner tag I made. I'm starting to really like the banner type tags for my sentiments! I really need to get find a die though, because it gets kinda time consuming creating them from
The cutie patootie image and sentiment are from "My Favorite Things". I don't really like how the cupcake turned out...not sure if it's the colors or what it is? I used my white opaque pen again to polka her dress!
I heat embossed the sentiment. Love the layered button look too! :D
Simple matching inside too...
