Back To School! I Love Learning -Fabulous Inky Friday with Tiddly Inks Stamps

Happy, Happy Friday all!

We have a super busy Friday. We have 4 doc appointments to make it to today. I'm hoping for this day to run as smooth as possible in able to make it to all appointments today...we'll see lol. I have an MRI bright and early to get an updated look at the discs in my lower back. My last MRI was 5 years ago, so doc thought it was time for a new one. Then off to the foot doc to get fitted for my shoe insert for the heel spur. A little break time to rush home and get everyone fed, then back at it with all the boys getting their checkups and possibly shots! And then to finish off the day, hubs will be getting some cavities filled and a tooth pulled.

And the countdown in our house has begun...4 more days to go till school starts back up! It seems like I've blinked my eyes and missed the entire summer lol.

Hope you all have a fun Memorial Day weekend!

Now onto my Fabulous Inky Friday creation...I have another fun "Back To School" card for you and a reminder that you still have 3 more days to enter our "School Day Fun" challenge over at Tiddly Inks Challenge blog!

I had a blast creating this! I designed this card to loook like a school notebook. After I finished this, I thought this would have actually made a super duper cute real notebook instead of just a card! I don't have any type of binding machine yet to make journals or notebooks...but it's definitely on my xmas wishlist to get one!

This image is just too cute! I've used the "School Girl" digi stamp from The Tiddly Inks shop.

And before you ask...why yes those are real pencils! I know I'm weird. Hubs says I always use the weirdest things as embellishments on my cards LOL.

All the DP I've used and the wording came from one of the new Recollections paper packs! I love their 180 value packs! Such a variety of cute paper in each pack.

A Very Purrrrty Frame! A Magnolia-Licious - Wild Rose Studio DT Project

Hello my crafty buddies!

How was your weekend?
I had a super busy week with lots of errands and doc appointments, which included me finally getting in to see the foot doc to see what was causing all the pain in my left foot. So I didn't get in as much crafty time as I wanted this week. They x-rayed my foot and it is in fact a heel spur as my regular doc predicted. The foot doc taped it up for now and I will be getting fitted for custom inserts next week. I was told I'm not aloud to go bare foot anymore, I can't wear my cute sandals and I can't even wear my slippers anymore darnit. I have to have my tennis shoes on at all times even walking around the house...I told hubs to be prepared for some stinky feet by days end LOL. But hey, if it will help the pain, I'm willing to do anything!

We finished off the week with some very sweet family time. We had to go to Junction city to give my hubs grandma the birthday card I made for her mother and we ended up staying there for a good portion of the day just gabbing and catching up. It was really nice.

Now for the crafty stuff!
I have another Magnolia-Licious project to share with you using an adorable little Wild Rose Studio Stamp. I made a wall hanging frame for my aunt whose birthday was this month...I know lots of August birthdays here! lol

Awhile back I bought a bunch of frames from a thrift shop and I went to town painting them up and distressing them, lol. It was sooo much fun! This is one of the frames. I used thick heavy duty chipboard that I nailed to the back and painted it white to match the frame. I decided not to keep the glass that came with the frames because I thought they looked neat without it.

As I mentioned, I made this for one of my aunts. She loves kitties and she actually has a couple. I tried to color the kitty to match the shade of her little guy.

The stamp I used is from the Wild Rose Studio collection in the Magnolia-Licious shop and can be found HERE!

My pics didn't turn out all that great on this one, I was getting so frustrated with re-takes after re-takes lol. But I was trying to capture the little clouds I colored in with my Prisma Pencils. I had to go back to using my pencils for the sky cause my light blue colored Copics are dry as a bone at the moment lol. I actually really like the softer effect though.

Here's some more close ups of all the flowers which are from Wild Orchard Crafts...LOVE that place!! I finally got me some of those pretty spiral stamens, YAY! And the little glass pebble I made with scrap DP and some Glossy Accents.

Here I Come! -Tiddly Inks School Day Fun Challenge!

Hello crafty friends!
Happy Tuesday...we made it through Monday yay! LOL

School starts for my boys here in about 2 more weeks!! They are excited and so are me and daddy! We've been trying to get them back on a routine sleep schedule, they of course are not liking it one bit. They act like it's complete torture that they have to go to bed at 8pm, lol.

Speaking of back to school...we have a brand new challenge for you at Tiddly Inks!! Our new challenge is "School Day Fun"! Should be easy right and very fun too?!!

This is my favorite type of card to create....LOVE when I get to add loads of flowers and lots of layers, oh and huge bows too! LOL

And it's been sooo long since I've done a purple card....I LOVE purple!

For my card today, I used a "Belinda". She is such a super cutie! Doesn't it look like she is off to boarding school?

Some more closeups. I made the little glass pebble with paper scraps from the DP used on the card.

Happy Birthday -A Magnolia-Licious WWPB Wild Rose Studio DT Card

Hello my crafty friends and a good Sunday morning to ya!

Guess what I got done this weekend and early ahead of the game for ME I might add?!! I actually got all 3 of my boys school shopping done and that includes all their new clothes and supplies for the year! So proud of myself because I got it done all in one day!! I usually procrastinate and end up doing it last minute and have to squeeze through all the "back-to-school" shopper crowds. I wasn't having that this year, peaceful and stress free for me...although my kiddos were groaning and complaining about 2 hours into shopping LOL. But that's boys for ya! But hey, I made up for it with Miccy-D's as their reward for being such troopers! ;)

I have another lovely Magnolia-Licious card to share with you all! And today I have used a gorgeous Wild Rose Studio stamp! Loving the adorable, girly and dainty feel of these stamps!

I made this card for my hubby's grandma...I guess that would make her my grand-mother in law? lol. She wanted some birthday cards made for her mother. So I got the first one done...lots more to go! lol

I think this may be the absolutely most PINK and girly card I have ever done! I'm not too big on pink...but I love the way this turned out!

The image I used for my card today is from the new Wild Rose Studio collection in the Magnolia-Licious shop!

I almost felt like scrapping my coloring because I boo booed on the sky...I ran out of my blue inks!! So I wasn't able to blend the gray in correctly. I also ran out of my colorless that didn't help me there either. I kinda fixed it...or so I think by covering the sky up with a swarm of teeny matching butterflies. Definitely time to buy some refills!! So no more skies from me for awhile.. I kinda boo booed the highlights too with my White Opaque pen...anyone know how to erase that stuff??? Would LOVE to know! LOL

By the way, the lovely papers I used for my card also come from the Magnolia-Licious shop and are matching sets that go along with the Wild Rose Studio stamps!! How neat is that?!! LOVE these little paper pads!! Perfect for your 6x6 cards!! You can find the adorable paper packs HERE in the shop!

I have some close up views of all the assorted blooms I used including crocheted flowers, the hidden vintage lace on the side and one of my handmade glossy accents pebbles featuring one of the adorable tweety birds from the paper pack!

I heat embossed the sentiment too...but you can't tell in the picture. Can you believe I actually found this sentiment stamp in the bargain bin area! It's beautiful, LOVE the font!

Now for the inside and I used more of that beautiful paper from the matching Wild Rose Studio paper pack!

May It Be A Very Batty Birthday! Fabulous Inky Friday With Tiddly Inks Stamps

Happy Friday all!!

I always seem to do a little jig and the "da da da dadum" song dances in my head when Fridays come along LOL! I don't know about you, but I'll be doing the back to school shopping rush this weekend. I'll let you know if I come out alive...specially heading to the battlefield at Walmart this time of year! lol.

I have my first Fabulous Inky Friday card to share today using another one of the ADORABLY creepy cuties from Christy's new releases!! And remember there is a fun blog hop going on through till the 19th with some super exciting prizes for the top commenters!! You can start HERE and hop on through for some outstanding inspiration from the whole team! Oh and don't forget you still have 4 more days to whip up a creation for the "Birthday Bash" challenge!!

I'm in love with these "creepies"...never knew creepy could be sooooo stinking cute!!

The new release image I used today is called "Batty For You" and can be found in the Tiddly Inks shop HERE in digital form or HERE if you prefer the pyhsical stamps.

I used the digital set and merged some of the elements of the set together to create my scene. I've been experimenting with backgrounds lately and trying to see what works best for me or what I like more. Loving the way these darker background are turning out...although it does use up a LOT of ink. I will be in need of refills soon, lol.

LOVE these gorgeous ribbon roses from Recollections! When I run out, I'm thinking about trying my hand at making my own! :)

And now the inside...I meant to use the hanging bats as a backdrop for the inside but completely forgot about it until I had put it all together and stitched everything up. Ah well, maybe next time!
